I'm gonna start my own song of the week to express or sum up what I'm feeling/ experienced. This week, I'll start off with Lily Allen's Smile. This song is dedicated to this "friend" who've been putting me down in the past, convincing me that I'd be making the worst decision of my life moving to the UK. Well dear, I hope I proved you wrong coz I'm having the time of my life now and have no regrets leaving. To those out there who've experienced that someone (who always have negative things to say about you all the time), don't worry about what they said. They are just insecure. Just because they can't have what you have does not mean you deserve to be put down. All I can say is "The people who mind don't matter.. The people who matter don't mind".
So, this is for you, my "friend":

My trip to Leeds
I am knackered. Last Monday, I went up to Leeds for work for a factory testing on one of our switchgears. I went with my colleague and client. It was a good 4 hour train ride from London. We arrived at the Malmaison hotel and it was lovely! I loved the room - its quite big for a standard room, complete with an LCD tv + dvd player. The room has a nice modern touch to it. I'd like to have that concept for my future home. Pictures of the Malmaison below:
The Malmaison welcomes you.

The closet & desk:

The LCD tv & dvd player

The bathroom:

We then went for a good italian dinner at BB Restaurant. Oh my god, the creme bruelle (if I spelt that right!) was excellent... yummm...

The next morning, we left early to Bradford to the S&I factory, where we had the testing. Ricki the testing engineer was very friendly, considering being bombarded by all my daft questions. I've been to FAT testings before when I was with my old company, but this experience is far better. I noticed that they do their testing thoroughly. A usual FAT back home can finish within 2 hours... but here, they do it step by step... explaining every single connection and testing them individually and thoroughly- which is how it should be done. I've never learnt so much about switchgears before! It was an amazing experience. Here's me with lovely Ricki :)

Dim-sum & kway teow... sedap...
Yesterday, I followed Fern & Olu to Croydon for grocery shopping at London's biggest Chinese store. Here at Wing Yip, you'll find everything from Malaysia- well almost everything, from Maggi to pau kacang to kicap manis etc. When I got back home, I went straight to the kitchen and steamed some nice prawn dim-sum and ate them with nice chilli oil.. yum! Dinner was Maggi Asam Laksa... nice...
Today pulak, I cooked myself Char Kway Teow.. so sedap since I haven't had kway teow for a long time. Since it was a bit too much, I had to give some to Maureen, our next door neighbour. Keeping some for tonight's dinner as well.
I know I'm suposed to keep to a strict diet for Vas's wedding but I couln't control myself this weekend. I'll make up for it by enrolling myself to the local health club here in Sutton. Also, might think of joining Salsa classes and Wing Chun. Am just waiting for my pay day this Wednesday. This January so pokai. Gave hubby £1500 last month to pay back what he owed when I moved in to the UK. Also, not forgetting the boxing day shopping... so can' wait for the long awaited pay day.. I worked quite a lot of overtime this month. So hopefully, will have a good start on my savings again.
This weekend I'll have to stay home - the house is in a huge mess! I haven't houvered for a while and the kitchen looks horrible, not forgetting the big pile of laundry! Its gonna be a tiring Sunday today to clean the hose up... but a good exercise too. In 2 weeks time, the lettings agency are gonna come around to inspect the place. So, hopefully the house will be in perfect condition by the time they come in.
I miss Boboy so much though. I really hope and wish he will come here soon. A house is not a home without Boboy :(

Its snowing!!!!

It was so difficult getting out of bed today. I was struggling to let go of my comfy duvet. After much hesitation (and numerous irritating alarms), I finally jumped out of bed and got ready for work. I was surprised when I stepped out of the house- it was snowing!!! It was breathtakingly beautiful....

The lovely snow made my day. I was in a cheerful mood the whole time at office, albeight the huge pile of work on my desk. Though it was rather cold than normal, I managed to keep a smile on my face to last me till the evening. I wish Hubby was here to see the snow. He loves snow. I'm sure if Boboy was here, he'd love it too...

Bon Voyage, Mate!
Tonight we had a good farewell get-together for Arvin, my housemate, whose leaving to site in Baku (Azerbaijan) tomorrow. Marc, Olu, Stella, Arvin and I had dinner at Mama Dumpling's and then to Revolution for drinks. Its good to be out again after quite a while being alone at home. Though it's getting freezing out there. Apparently, its gonna snow in the next couple of days.
Work was boring today. I was trying to stay awake most of the time finishing my presentation. I haven't finish the slides yet, let alone practice on it! I don't know why I'm procrastinating- usually I'll be dead panic by now.
My diet regime is getting better. I find myself more careful now with my food intake, trying to control myself to eat less than 2000 calories a day. Workout wise? Err, I'm failing miserably. I haven't done any form of exercise yet.. though I do hope to start as soon as Arvin leaves. Also, I'm planning to try out Wing Chun tomorrow. I haven't tried martial arts yet, so it might be interesting.
Anyways, good luck to Arvin. Enjoy yourself in Baku. I'll see you in the next couple of months!

TV? No... Zara coat? Yes!
I have a confession to make. I have been very naughty today. I set out to go check out the second hand TV at a repair shop in Wallington. Its about 2 train stops away. When I got there (after a gruelling 20minutes uphill walk from the station!), the shop owner told me that they don't have any TV in stock for sale, only repairs :(
So, since I had time to spare... and I was at the train station anyways, I decided to do a detour to Croydon instead.. you know, just to get some fresh air. By the way, it is the last weekend of the Christmas sale. So, it won't hurt just go window shopping on the last bargains available, right??? Err.. WRONG!
As soon as I stepped into Croydon, I headed straight to Zara. There was quite a frenzy there, coz they slashed an extra 20% off on top of the sale price. So, I kinda looked around, browsed through the sale rails and there it was... the red Zara coat that I saw a month ago with Marc. Its this lovely 60s inspired red coat - I remembered that it was love at first sight... but my heart broke when I saw the price tag - £99. Of course, I put it back, obviously I couldn't afford it. Anyways, the red coat was on sale for £40!!! And it was the only one left. So without hesitation, I grabbed it straight to the till!

I'm so excited... I love my Zara coat! Its one of the best buys ever. On top of that, I also managed to splurged on a summer dress a sweater, a T-shirt and a couple of thermal singlets. Nice...
So, I'm now home feeling satisfied with my bargain buys... especially my Zara coat. Can't wait to wear it soon!

My Television Decision Obsession

This is our TV in our lounge. As you can see, it is a bit too old... no, its actually an ancient antique. Don't get me wrong, it works perfectly fine... but because it was from 20 years ago, it doesn't have any input/output connections. Thus, we can't connect our DVD player nor put in a digital Freeview box.
So, in line with my new year resolutions no.1 and no.3 (to lose weight the cheap way), I am all geared up to exercise at least 3x a week via the numerous DVD workouts that I have. We have a huge carpeted lounge, so space is not a problem. My housemate is gonna leave to site soon, so time share to use the lounge is not a problem either. The only problem is making the right decision to buy which tv.
You see, I can't afford a brand new LCD tv, which costs a minimum of £500 each... minimum! I don't mind a second hand CRT tv. In fact they are becoming so much cheaper now due to the introduction of the LCD tvs. The only thing is that I'm torn with either getting a small tv which can fit in our existing tv cabinet (see picture) or getting a new set all together inclusive of the stand. If I look through ebay, it costs nearly the same for a Sony 24" and a Phillips 32"... so then, I have to decide on the brand aka quality history. I know Sony's the best one out there.. but its quite difficult to find. My budget's the other problem... I hope I won't spend more than £100, inclusive of the delivery and hopefully I can include a freeview box into it as well.
I went through loads of internet sites to find the best deals and I find quite a few good offers. However, a colleague of mine at office told me there's this repair shop in Wallington selling cheap second hand TVs. So, I'm gonna go check it out tomorrow. Well, wish me luck!

A new year, a new start
I know that I might be more than 2 weeks overdue, but erm.. Happy New Year everyone!!! There were so much going ons that hindered me to post much earlier. The main one would be not having our home internet connection connected last December as promised by the internet provider. I can't sign in to my blog from office anymore, for some strange reason... apparently a forbidden message pops out every time I tried to. So apologies for not updating the blog for quite a long time.
But anyways, now that the internet is up and running, I am so happy that I can now blog and hopefully update it as regularly as I would like to. Hmmm... where shall I start??? OK, since my last posting I've had some memorable ongoings that's worth mentioning. I've had my first company ball, wearing my very first formal black dress. It was a good evening. I went with my housemate, Arvin and we had a good time with my colleagues and bosses. It was a 3 course meal dinner and dance. Unfortunately, the pictures are with Arvin (whose back in KL at this moment- you lucky guy, benci...). I'll try and post it up soon.
Then, there was the long Christmas holiday, which Hubby came up to join me here. That was really fun. We spent quality time together and rented a car for the week. We went up to Oxford and went on a shopping spree. More details are in my photo blog. I bought quite a lot of stuff, mostly work clothes, coz unfortunately I can't fit in my old ones from last year. Yup, I've put on weight. I used to weigh an average of 48kgs, but sadly now I'm 54kgs... which is already in the overweight category for my height.
Thus, I'm hoping that 2007 will be a good year- a new start for me. This year I have decided to commit myself to the following:
1) To start my diet & exercise program to lose 5kg before my birthday
2) To start serious work to get my Charteredship
3) To start saving for a house
Hopefully, the above will keep me busy since I'm all alone at the moment. It will keep me a bit focused and lessen the stress of missing my loved ones.

Seasons Greetings
Its been a month already since I started work. All is well. I'm getting along pretty well with the project team. I'm allocated at Sutton office, which is about 10minutes walk from home. I love it here... so easy to get to everywhere and you can stay off overtime without worrying on the last train.
We already had a few get-togethers and it was really fun. Its their culture to go have drinks at the pub first before dinner. The good thing is they all let their hair down after a hard days work- no work talk at all, just fun and laugher and a few mabuks laaa...
Financially getting better, though I still have to pay Hubby his hutangs... So, basically come January 2007 will be a good time to start saving.. so, in the meantime I better spend as much as I can during Boxing Day.. hehe.
Everyone's in a festive mood today, so not a lot of people are in the office anyways. I'm planning to go home early as well.
I can't wait till our internet goes live tomorrow at home... finally!!! At least I can update my blog more regularly with pictures and all.
In the meantime, I do apologise for the unorganised layouts, missing links etc... Will get it sorted once I can work from home when our internet's live.

Settling down...
It’s a new week at the office and it today was already quite a challenging day. Since morning I was up & running in the office trying to get things done. Yup! Its busy already! I was settling a lot of admin stuff and was already assigned to a project. I might be sent off to the Sutton office, which was good since it’s just a walk down the road.
I think I’m settling fine in my new office environment. Made some new friends and the people are really friendly. Last weekend, I took the chance to explore Sutton high street. Not bad at all- loads of choices to go shopping. I spent 5 hours trying to find the perfect pair of office pants, which suits my petite frame (and of course within my very tight budget). On Sunday, Marc came over and brought yummy West Indian lunch. We then headed to the local pub where the guys had a few pints and we spent the evening just chilling out.
The only downside is that I really wish Hubby was here. It would make life in a foreign country so much easier. I miss him very much, especially now that work is building up and timing is just not right for us to have our usual long conversations. I miss talking to him.
Money wise- I am so pokai! I urgently need to get my claims sorted as soon as possible. I’m so worried about the rent at the end of the month- dunno whether I’ll have enough cash in the bank to afford it even! So much expenses incurred and we have to sort out quite a lot of bills too.
Though when I was talking to Hubby, I really wish he can be here for Christmas. I know that we might not afford for his trip down this December, but from the looks of it, even Hubby would want to come no matter what. These are the times when love is far more valuable than fortune. No point of having loads of cash in your account when you can’t really be together with your loved ones. I so hope and pray to God that Hubby will get a good job here so that we can settle down here nicely…

My first day at work
Today is officially my first day at work. It was OK, I got familiarise with the dept, my fellow colleagues, set up my internet accounts, briefing and got my KBR pass.
I have to say that I was really impressed. The department was really organised and well-structured. I met Fern, a Malaysian who has made it big in KBR. She motivated me. She was exactly who I aspire to be- a Technical Professional specialising in protection and doing really well with her family in the UK for the last 6 years. I will aim to learn a lot from her. I don’t wanna give the impression that I’m a smart-ass, in fact I will buat muka tak malu and ask a lot of questions. From the looks of it, I think she has quite a high expectation from me. I will prove to her that I’m willing to learn more than I know though.
At the moment, I’m more comfortable settling in as a new-comer, fresh graduate to start work. I don’t wanna start giving the impression that my 5 years working experience made me a competent design engineer. Coz, I kinda feel that the knowledge gained from my 5 years working is so little from what Fern has achieved.
OK, gotta go to bed now. I have an early start tomorrow and it there’s so much catching up to do!

I have officially moved to the UK
I have now moved into my new home! Oh my God, it’s the most gorgeous apartment. I absolutely love it! I’m paying about £675 a month inclusive of bills- which is very expensive, considering that I’m so pokai… but I’m not complaining a single bit.
The living room is huge with fru-fru 3 seater sofas, 2 matching single sofas, with matching curtain. There is a fireplace feature and a nice balcony. The kitchen is fully equipped with microwave, toaster, kettle, coffee maker, washer dryer, kitchen freezer, pots and pans and a mini radio as well! Its all matching yellow.
My bedroom is lovely, with 2 walk-in wardrobes and my ensuite shower room is like a hotel. I spent 2 whole days sorting out all my clothes and stuff in my room. I realised I have so much stuff though… it’s a good reminder to not shop for the rest of the year. Though I hope the ladies in KBR are not wearing suits all the time, as I only have one matching suit that can fit. Thus, I either have to spend money (which I obviously don’t have!) to buy new suits that can fit me…or opt to lose weight, by stop eating and saving money. Obviously, the latter is preferred.
I’m ready to start a new life now…. Though I wish Hubby was with me. It’s so sad that he’s not here to see the house. I’m sure he’ll absolutely love it as well. It could have been a perfect apartment for us. I pray to God for murah rezeki for us to be together again. I really do miss him L
OK, have to get an early night. Tomorrow’s my first day at work! Must leave a good impression. I really hope that all works out and I aim to really excel in KBR, so that I can save a lot of money to afford to bring Hubby, Mama and Boboy here…

Salam Aidilfitri
It has been more than a month since my last post. I can list down all the excuses from my laptop being serviced to no internet connections to the downright busy and lazy. But anyhows, it is good to be back in KL with my dear family, friends and my cats.
I started work again and was back in the office during Ramadhan. Since the news of me resigning broke out, my boss had no options but to not give me any work. Such blessed offering forced me to spent most of my time in the office solving a full book of Sudoku puzzles, checking my office mail and reading fashion magazines.
Hubby, on the other hand was forced to stay late at work, making it quite impossible to spend quality time with me. Thank God, my best friend Vas kept me occupied most of the time watching box set DVDs of CSI and Desperate Housewives, in a bid to save my Hubby from my boredom attacks. My best friend Mar, is also back from Dubai... so it was fun hanging out with the girls agian. We're only waiting to secure a date with Mate to have one of our girly night outs soon. Karaoke perhaps? Fun! Can't wait!

Aidilfitri preparation was done at a minimum, due to our financial constraints this year. Even more so since we recently spent a fortune for Boboy's medical treatments. Boboy was admitted TWICE this Ramadhan month. First he was attacked by the notorious Kg Baru gengster-cat and got his tail injured. The doctors had to shave half his tail to treat the wound. After he got out of hospital, the same evening he was attacked yet again by a bunch of gangster-cats and this time got his head slashed. Boboy had to have stitches on his forehead and admitted once again. So, Boboy is basically grounded for life now.

Aidilfitri celebration was very simple this year too. However, its the most memorable one as it was the first for me, Mama & Hubby being all together for Raya. We woke up quite early in the morning, went Raya prayers and salam for forgiveness. Then, had our usual Raya makan-makan. By evening, we went to visit my aunties and ate some more. Me makan so banyak!!! But it was worth it la.... it will be a long time till I get to eat Mama's famous lodeh & rendang again.

Since I'm officially a full-time penganggur, I made myself useful around the house doing laundry, the dishes and cooking lunch for Hubby. Its not too bad staying at home- kinda enjoy it, especially when I have my lovely boys (Boboy & Baby) with me. I have less than 2 weeks before I return to the UK.... so will definitely make the most of my stay. Its going to be so sad when I leave though... I will surely miss my family and dear friends :(

Our Travel Adventure

The mission: To drive a Ford Transit, overloaded with boxes of Manchester treasures from Manchester to Guildford to London to Sutton, then continue journey to Dubai and finally to Kampung Baru.
Day 1
In the morning, Hubby and Wong started to load our stuff in the Ford Transit. We left Manchester at 5pm after saying our farewell to Q3 Apartments. We drove for nearly 5 hours from Manchester to Guildford. Hubby was the pilot, while I co-piloted the journey. We arrived at Hawari's and had the best telur sambal dinner ever. Had a good night rest.
Day 2
Left Guildford around noon and faced the London traffic to Euston to drop off Sis Serina and her stuff. Rushed out of London, but got caught up in bad traffic. Managed to arrive in Sutton around 4.30pm. Me & Hubby checked out Sutton and it was so happening. Its definitely the place to stay! We then drove down to Leatherhead via Epsom... oh my God, it was totally a dead town at 7pm... and that's a Saturday night! The decision to stay in Sutton was justified!
Day 3
Had a hearty breakfast and went to Guildford town with Hawari. Many salutes to dear Hawari for having us! Thank you!!!

After our farewell hugs, Hubby & I then rushed off to Gatwick Airport to send off the Ford Transit. At the airport, we had to go through the gruelling security clearence. I almost had to leave my Beanie Pillow coz my hand luggage couldn't fit the restricted size allowance. But, with a little bit of drama, both me and the Beanie pillow got through fine.. hehe
Day 3.5
Arrive in Dubai. Our flight got delayed. Bad news for Hubby, but excellent news for me.... can't let the time go to waste, so I did some serious shopping, hehe. Bought perfume, MAC lipstick, Lancome make-up and Braun Silk Epil set. Boarded the flight to KL with a happy smile :)

Day 4
Arrive in KLIA safely and met up with Papa & Mummy. By 11.30pm, arived in Kg Baru, greeted by our darlings, Boboy & Baby with love.

Mission accomplished!

My drama...
Oh my God, the last few hours of my dissertation due date was so drama. This was what happened:
I was going through the finishing touches of the dissertation and was planning to get it printed by 10pm. But at 7pm, my MacBook Pro suddenly made these awful screeching noises! It went from bad to worse and I can literally feel the keyboards vibrating! Of course, I did panic and had to resort to calling up Wong to come and bring in his laptop instead. Wong, being the gentleman he is came to the rescue. We had to take the trouble to transfer all the files from my laptop to his and install the drivers for the printer.
By the time I was ready to work, it was nearly midnight. I rushed through my last Chapters and started printing 3 copies of 100 pages of writing each. Of course, the occasional re-prints of missing graphs and salah eja made the printing process worst. I worked all night till the sun comes up, as by the time I printed off the last page of my dissertation it was already 7am in the morning.
I then rushed to uni at about 8am, thinking that I might be the first in line to bind the dissertation since the shop opens at 8.30am. Oh my God, was I wrong! There was already a long queue waiting since 7am! I waited in line for 2 hours and finally submitted the finished product at 12noon.
I swear I'm not gonna go through writing a dissertation, nor thesis ever again. I'm so happy now that I can finally stretch out and rest without any worries whatsoever. I'm planning to stay in bed for the rest of the weekend. Its finally over!!!

I'm ALMOST done!!!!
Yesterday night I worked like a mad woman on my last simulation to validate my design. Oh my God, papers and calculations everywhere. My manager came to check on me and when she saw the whole mess, she got convinced to postpone my room inspection. She decided to do mine next week Monday. Thank God for that!
I was left alone the whole of yesterday night, figuring out on the validation and the write-up. Come 3am, I was finishing up the last Chapter and dindn't realise it was already 8am in the morning!
So, obviously today I woke up at 3.30pm and got all the draft printed out for the final editing. I still haven't finished the Abstract, Outline and Conclusion, which I'm still figuring out on what to write.
Most of my friends are done with their dissertation. Some even have handed in! Well, good for them. As for me, there's still work to be done and I'm hoping to maintain this momentum so I can submit this bloody thing, latest on Thursday.
Wish me luck!

Sunny Sunday :)
Its Sunday already and this week has officially passed. Looking back, I realised how much work I've done and the dissertation is almost 80% complete. I have still yet to finish the Conclusion, Abstract and Chapter 9. The rest are just bits and pieces that needs editing. Hmmm... so far so good.
Although tomorrow will be the start of the last week in uni, I'm taking my time and am in no rush. Today was the best- I woke up at 2pm (hey, awal tu tau...) and got myself busy straight away. Unlike other days where I took ages to get out of bed, today seems so calm and refreshing. It was raining the whole of last night and today the sun is shining, nice clear blue skies... I like...
Hubby called and it was nice to talk to him again. Its always nice talking to Hubby on a weekend. He seems to be more relaxed and have more stories to goss about. Weekdays' conversations are usually kept to a minimum because either he was too busy or too tired. Nevertheless, he's always there and calls me everyday, so no qualms or complaints for me!
I just finished cooking lamb curry and ikan goreng for dinner.. yummm... I usually don't cook this much alone, but since today's a nice day, I'm giving myself a treat.
My Sunny Sunday treat! :)

Get well soon, my Baby...

I just got off the phone with Mama. She was busy attending to house chores because this past week, she was caught up taking care of Baby, my other cat. Baby did something wrong (which honestly, I don't blame him if you know the history) and was beaten up. When Mama found him, he was so weak and his back leg got injured. Mama said the wound was quite bad- he lost some fur and skin. He can't even walk properly.
So, Mama had to wash the wounds and put some ointment on it. The worst bit was that Baby was totally traumatised by the incident. He was hiding all the time and Mama had to shield Baby in a basket close to her to make Baby comfortable. He refused to eat and didn't move much. This was a far cry from the Baby we once knew and loved. He was always jumping around with joy and was happy and active all the time.
Poor Baby, I wish I could be there for him. I know he needs as much tender loving care right now. I hope the person responsible realised the pain that Baby is suffering, and find it in his heart that Baby is just a helpless animal who doesn't understand why he's treated so badly.
May God forgive him for what he's done.

A case of bad management...
I didn't write in yesterday because I was having problems with the internet connection (yet again!). It was a good thing in a way as it stopped me from surfing the net, so I can concentrate on my work. As for the dissertation, I'm taking one step at a time, trying my best not to stress myself out like the previous weeks. I work best from late nights to early morning and spent the whole day hybernating.
Anyways, all was going well.. until I got a letter from my apartment's manager insisting us that this weekend will be the final inspections for our rooms. We have to clean it up spotless and make way for the inspections, or dread having our deposits not returned. What??? Apa ni?? THIS weekend?! Of all the days of the month (mind you my tenancy expires on the 15th- 2 weeks left) and they have to do it THIS weekend!
I was dead mad. You see, the undergraduates who opted for a 42 weeks contract, had their final inspections on the last 3 days of their tenancy. Which was fair, as they need to pack up and remove their stuff from the room anyways. But for us, we are paying extra and yet we have to pack-up and clean 2 weeks before our last day here??? Come on! Where's the logic?!!
To add salt to the wound, the management even demanded that next week the buliders will be coming in to re-decorate the place, i.e paint the walls etc... WHILE we are in our apartment. There was this stupid disclaimer note saying that we have to give way to the builders- thus, any mishaps from them (e.g paint or dust on our stuff), will not be entertained, as we were warned.
So, you can imagine what all these crap mean to me- of all the weeks of the year, this 2 weeks will be the most important weeks of my life. It is when you will see the worst sight ever- stressfull me in the middle of the apartment, papers everywhere, printer is printing non-stop, countless coffee mugs on the table and laundry piling like nobody's business..... and suddenly, I have to make way for my manager to come in and pick on every single dust and spots AND then allow some people to come in and paint the house while I work. If a big spot of paint dropped on my dissertation, then ooopsss... too bad- its MY fault.
What the...??? What kind of management is this? The very BAD kind >:(

Mothers know best....

Like a natural instinct, Mama called this morning to ask how I'm doing on the dissertation. Being so busy lately, I haven't actually got the time to call her since I got back. It was such a relief to hear her voice after all I went through these past few weeks.
Surprisingly, Mama could sense that I was under a lot of stress. Its a super-natural thing that she posessed, mind you she has never touched a computer, let alone surfing the net and read my blog! But, she could sense that I was thinking way too much on other "un-urgent" things, and ended up not giving full concentration on my dissertation... "That's why la you stress so much and can never finish your dissertation!", she said.
Being the I'm-always-right daughter, I could have just defended myself... but today, I just kept quiet and admitted that this time, Mama's right! She was lecturing me on why should we all stress ourselves worrying for something that is too distant, but couldn't see the priorities in front of our eyes.... which is true.
I HAVE been busy worrying about other un-urgent matters, especially on looking for a house and housemate in Leatherhead. But like Mama said, this can wait as I will only move there in November. Then, I got all stressed out on the 'moving-house' bit, thinking of all the boxes, packing and shipping. I also got caught up with the thought of the final cleaning inspection for my apartment. The funny thing is, all the above are due way past my dissertationn due date!
Come to think of it, if I don't keep myself busy with the "other" things, I actually have ample time to submit a really good project- a potential distinction if I want.
So, Mama, I thank you and I promise that from today onwards, I will give my 100% on completing my dissertation on time. As for the "other" things, they can just sod-off!
